Philomusica Welcomes New Members in Spring and Fall! An auditioned community choir, Philomusica seeks central NJ singers with good reading skills for May and December concerts. Rehearsals take place every Monday until concerts, with additional site rehearsals on Monday and Wednesday two weeks prior to the concert dates. December 5 & 6, 2009 “Christmas Concert,” features a cappella and organ accompanied performances of Renaissance to 20th century works by Continer, Susa, Hassler, Rutter, Paulus, Burt with selected traditional carols. May 2010 This concert features the Berliner Messe by Arvo Pärt and more, to be announced. Audition by appointment before and after initial Monday rehearsals each semester, 7:30–10p.m. at The Unitarian Society, 176 Tices Lane, East Brunswick. Fall auditions • August 31, September 14, 21 and 28, 2009 Spring auditions • January 4, 11 and 18, 2010.
