Philomusica Concert Choir, founded in 1969, is an auditioned choir of over 40 voices committed to musical excellence, inclusive choral community, and the exploration of music that highlights commonalities among different eras, traditions, cultures, and languages. The choir prioritizes programming new music written in the past 5-10 years, introducing audiences to music that is less familiar, and engaging them with interesting interpretations and details in more familiar, traditional works.

Philomusica presents two series of concerts annually in the greater Middlesex County area. We also perform in collaborative concerts, community events, benefits, commemorations, and tours. Choir members have sung with the New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra, Cantabile Chamber Chorale, Highland Park Community Chorus, and as part of outreach performances at arts festivals, senior centers, libraries, and community spaces. Our commitment to musical excellence is matched by our belief in the power of choral music to build connections across differences, inspire joy, and reflect the rich diversity of our community and the world around us.
