Dennis Boyle served as the music director of our choir for 39 years. Sadly, Dennis passed away in 2024. During his tenure, Dennis was largely responsible for the development of the choir and our unique Philomusica sound that so many have come to love.

The Dennis Boyle Scholarship at Montclair State University will provide an annual scholarship for a student pursuing a career in music. This scholarship will be a permanent honorarium dedicated to the memory of this extraordinary man and his love for all things music--especially choral music!
